 What can I return?

You can initiate a return up to 10 days after delivery if:

  • You receive a wrong, damaged, defective or counterfeit item

When returning an item, ensure all seals, tags and accessories are left intact and item is in it’s original packaging. If you have created a password on the device you wish to return, please ensure it is removed, otherwise, your return will be invalid.

Once I initiate a return, what happens next?

If the package was delivered to you and you requested for a pick-up, our delivery agent will call you to schedule a retrieval. There will be 2 attempts made to retrieve the item(s).

If you initially picked-up your package from one of our stations or chose to drop-off at one, please take the items you wish to return to a pick-up station near you

I have requested for returns pick-up from my home, how long will it take?

Once we receive your request,we will make two attempts to retrieve the item(s).

What happens if I miss both attempts to retrieve my return?

Your return request will be cancelled and you will no longer be able to return that item.

Can I return an item after 10 days?

How do I track my return status?

Is my product under warranty?

Do I have to return all products in my order?

No, you do not have to return your entire order. You can return your choice of selected items.

Do I have to return the free gift when I return a product?

Yes, any free gift must also be returned.

Do I have to pay for shipping charges when I return a product?

There are no charges for shipping a product back to fastdeal.

Can I Replace or Exchange an item rather than a refund?

At the moment, fastdeal does not offer replacement or exchange of an item; however you can still return an item and receive a full refund.

Why was my item redelivered to me instead of a refund?

Returned items will be redelivered to you if we cannot verify your reason for returning it. For example, a microwave returned for not powering-on will be tested extensively and if the claims are right, a refund will be processed, but if during the test, it powers-on, the item will be redelivered to you.

If my refund gets validated, how and when will I get reimbursed?

Refund process begins after we have completed the evaluation of your returned product. See information about our refund timelines here. We will send you an email notification once return examination completed.

To process your refund quickly, you have the option to request a refund via fastdeal Refund Voucher, which must be indicated when you request for a return via our contact form or by calling our Customer Service.

Otherwise, you can be refunded according to the following table. Note that some refund methods are available according to your payment method.

What is a refund voucher?

Fastdeal Refund Voucher can be chosen as a refund method. The value is equal to the amount of the product purchased.
You can use fastdeal Refund Voucher as voucher code to buy item. A refund voucher is valid for 180 days you need to use your voucher during this period. This refund voucher can be used on several purchases, until your balance is 0.

How do I use my voucher?

If you have been issued a Jumia Refund Voucher, you will have received a voucher number.
Please enter this voucher number in the voucher code box and click “add voucher” during checkout at payment step. A corresponding deduction will be applied to your total amount.

Kindly note: If you have more than one voucher code, you can only use one code per order.

I have bought an item on promotion or with a voucher. What amount will you refund me?

For items purchased on sale, the amount refunded will be the exact amount paid, and not its original value.

For example: If you purchased an item on sale for N2,000 and its original value was N4,000, we will refund you N2,000.

If you purchased an item with a Refund voucher, we will refund you the sum of the amount you paid and the amount of the fastdeal refund voucher.

Do I also get refunded the shipping charge when returning a product?

Yes, the refunded amount will also include the shipping amount you were charged.

Our Return Policy

Fastdeal offers a 10 day return window for items that meet the requirements for return. Please contact is via any of our contact channels within seven days of delivery and we will ensure you get resolution

Return Instructions

STEP 1: Send a Complaint

Also include pictures of the product that was delivered to [email protected].ng as a means of evidence.

STEP 2: Return after Authorization

Once your claim is validated, we will provide information on the most suitable means of getting the item from you.

STEP 3: Track Return Status

We will send you a return waybill number, this will enable you to track the status of your return.

STEP 4: Get Resolution

Once the item has been received by the seller, we will ensure you get a resolution (A replacement, exchange or refund)

What if I complain after the 10 days return timeframe has elapsed?

For product complaints outside 10 days in relation to defective items, you may:

  • Visit an authorized service centre to obtain warranty. if the service centre is not in your location, you may choose to contact fastdeal
  • Contact the seller of the product who will be in a better position to provide a resolution
  • Contact us so we can assist in getting a resolution from the seller.

Please note: You will be responsible for the shipping cost and cost of repair (where the defect is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty). Fastdeal will not replace or issue refund for items that fall into this category.

Items not eligible for Returns

Products that have been altered from their original or opened by some authorized personnel without permission.

Product with tampered or missing serial Universal Product Code numbers (UPC).

Perishable goods cannot be returned except a valid reason is raised at the point of delivery with affirmation from the dispatcher.

Products damaged due to misuse
